TipTop Tavern didn’t appear out of thin air. Our story goes all the way back to the 1960s, when this corner of San Lorenzo was home to the Usher Inn — a no-frills, all-heart neighborhood bar where locals came to unwind, connect, and feel like regulars from the moment they walked in. For generations, it was simply the place to be.

In 2016, we carried that legacy forward under a new name. TipTop Tavern was born — same welcoming soul, same community spirit, with a fresh coat of paint and a whole lot of love for the neighborhood that made this place what it is.

During the week, we keep the competitive spirit going with pool tournaments that draw some serious talent from around the community. We’re also proud to host a ladies-only pool tournament — a fan favorite that’s become one of the most spirited nights on our calendar. And when the weekend rolls around, we turn up the mic for karaoke nights that have become a true TipTop tradition. Whether you’re a shower-singer finally taking the stage or a seasoned regular who owns the room, you’ll fit right in.
